High Meadow Alpacas is located in the rolling hills of Nashville in beautiful, scenic Middle Tennessee. Michael and Charlotte Goldston fulfilled their life-long passion of loving animals by raising and breeding alpacas to go along with their horses, donkeys, dogs, cats, swans, ducks, geese and any other needy creature that arrives.
After a combined fifty six years in the investment business (so far!), they have created a little bit of heaven on earth at High Meadow. Despite being located in the heart of a prosperous business community, the farm and its 150 beautifully landscaped acres retains an air of peaceful tranquility.
They have put together a superior herd, incorporating some of the finest bloodlines in the country. And they have only just begun! Some of their representative bloodlines include : PPeruvian Timoteo, Augusto, Peruvian Logan, Peruvian Dakotia, Patagonia's Caballero Andante, Patagonia's Compadre, Danko, CPeruvian Silvino, Sinopsis Nocturna, Peruvian Hemingway, Bueno, Shackleton, Dom Timbo, 4 Peruvian Matador, NZ Maori Magic, Patagonia's Neruda, Yukon, Peruvian Barringer, Peruvian Cepa, Peruvian Whiteout, CPeruvian Silvio, PPeruvian Vengador, PPeruvian Felix. Peruvian Black Mesquite, Peruvian El Moustachio, Accoyo Leon, Heart's Desire's Predictor, Patagonia's Nishio, Peruvian Black Knight, PPPeruvian Dracula, Patagonia's Drake, Plantel and Shere- Khan.
Their goal is simply to raise the highest quality alpacas in the Southeast (for a start!) and introduce top national bloodlines to the area. They do not want to be the biggest alpaca ranch, just one of the best. The animals' health comes first and well known camelid expert Dr. Norm Evans is their main veterinarian, and visits on a regular basis.
