Princess was the first cria born at High Meadow. Her dam is Abigal and her sire is Timoteo Samson. We knew she was special, but this was confirmed at the 2003 Southern Select Alpaca Show. At just eight months of age she took a First Place ribbon in a crowded field of brown females. She also took the Grand Champion award! According to the show judge “.. she is the most stylish, has the best fleece, best conformation ,,, well covered, beautiful top knot, beautiful fleece. Clearly at the top of our class”. She also took a Second Place at the Kentucky Classic in a very competitive class; a Second Place in the 2003 OABA Alpacafest Handcrafter’s Spin-Off; and a Fifth Place in Halter at the Ohio show, the third largest in the country
