ALPACA FARM DAYS
High Meadow Alpacas has been pleased for the past three years to host visitors to our farm in historic Leipers Fork to meet our alpacas during "National Alpaca Farm Days". We will be doing that again the last week-end in September 2011. More information will be posted about this so check back. But because of the tremendous interest we have had from those attending each September and the many requests to return, we are going to have another OPEN HOUSE on Saturday, May 14, 2011 and Sunday, May 15, 2011 from 10:00 to 3:00 on both days. If you have always wanted to see an alpaca up close, or just looking for an excuse to get outside, it is a great reason to stop by. We will have fleece displays, information about these beautiful animal long known as the "The World's Greatest Livestock Investment", and plenty of alpaca kisses. Our alpaca store will be open for yarn, rovings, raw fleece, teddy bears, sweaters, scarves, socks, and other alpaca items. There will be demonstrations of weaving, spinning, and felting. Below are some pictures from past events.
